How to Get the Most Wear Out of Your Swim

Styling your swim with your everyday clothes is the best way to help create a more ethical and sustainable wardrobe.
Most of the time, it’s only swim season for about 4 – maybe 5 – months of the year (if we’re lucky!). The rest of the year it’s likely that our swim pieces are stowed away just waiting to be worn again.
But we believe our swim should be as just as important as every other piece in our closet! All of our swimwear is designed so that they can be worn in and out of the water – as bodysuits or bralettes so that we all can get the most out of our swim pieces. Wearing our swim with our everyday clothes also helps us do our part in the Fashion Revolution to help create a more sustainable fashion industry.

Livia Firth, founder of Eco Age, started the #30Wearschallenge to encourage people to only buy clothes that they know they will love and wear. We love this idea! Here’s how you can get way more than 30 wears out of your Cecile Swim:

One Pieces

If you own a Cecile Swim one piece, style your swim as a bodysuit! Wear your one piece with your favourite pair of high-waisted jeans, trousers, shorts or skirts. Our Aries One Piece is made of thick, high-quality fabric. Layering up with a cardigan or jacket as winter approaches will keep you nice and warm while looking chic – we promise!

Two Pieces

Like any crop, you can get really creative with our Aries Top. Like our one pieces, our swim tops can be worn with nearly any pair of jeans or shorts in your wardrobe. Wear yours as a cute crop underneath a jacket or underneath a deep-v top to add some detail to your outfit.
Want to wear your two-piece top and bottoms? Our Aries Tops and Bottoms are perfect for festival looks! Wear under a sheer dress to flaunt your swim bottoms as well.
